關於台北復臨美國學校
台北復臨美國學校於1950年，初期為基督復臨安息日會海外傳教士子女設立之小學，1991年登記為外僑學校發展成小學及中學，課程、學習環境皆比照美國教育之品質，讓學生與美國學生具有同等能力，進而進入美國教育機構及大學。同一體系還有南投復臨國際教育實驗機構(TAIS)。
校長Elliot Fullmer說:「TAAS主旨在全面教導學生包括心理、生理、社會責任和道德價值的重要性，無論宗教國籍，大家皆可成為學校家庭的一份子。」
以人為本，與自然一同成長學習
復臨重視每位學生的價值與獨特性，系統化地進行全人教育，使學生身心靈、學習及社會能力得到充分發展，由於學校地點位於山中，自然老師為了落實教學，會帶學生從自然環境中認識生物並接觸了解，每年都有校外活動與戶外求生的技能與遊戲。
年級分配：
從小學一年級到八年級，九年級以後，可以到其他外僑學校就讀，或是出國念書。低年級學生大概10至15人上下，中高年級學生數只收20人，每個年級1個班。師生比的優勢讓學生的狀況比較好掌握，下課後，如果學生對課業上有任何的問題，隨時可告知班導師，班導師與校長都住在學校附近，很願意在放學後，提供課業輔導，不另外收費，以幫助學生學習為主旨。
About Taipei Adventist American School:
Taipei Adventist American School had its beginnings in 1955 as a small home-style school for overseas missionaries of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and doctors of Taiwan Adventist Hospital who mostly came from North America to pioneer the SDA mission work in China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.
TAAS specializes in individualized holistic American-style instruction in a way not possible in a larger school setting. Not only does it benefit learning, but it enhances social development in a smaller, family-type setting. Children in small school situations become more independent and do better academically because of a lower student/teacher ratio.
Because of the western-style education, students are encouraged to take responsibility for their own learning apart from the pressures of the teacher or other authorities. Students learn how to act independently, act cooperatively, and love learning.

*就讀一年級者需於該入學年度9月1日年滿6歲
Application requirements for TAAS:
●Copy of foreign passport.
1. Completed English application form.
2. A letter of recommendation.
3. English learning record in school for 2 years before admission.
4. Medical examination report certified by a doctor.
5. Take the English Entrance Test (Grade 2-8).
*Students in the first grade must be 6 years old on September 1st of the enrollment year
