關於道明外僑學校
道明國際外僑學校前身為，美國政府簽約給在台灣的美國家屬所就讀的學校，成立於1956年是台灣最早的外僑學校，學校位於大直，實踐大學旁邊近捷運站。因歷史悠久2017年正式翻修落成，學生使用的環境學制都是與美國相同，為私立天主教學校，宗教信仰自由選擇。提供幼稚園到12年級的課程，最低入學年齡為4歲，一個班級人數約都在20個左右，為小班制。學生總人數大概是400人左右(最多至500人)，學校規定比一般外僑學校嚴謹，須穿著制服，不可以染髮，全校只有12年級有一天的便服日，但對於服裝仍有規定，注重學生在課業上的表現。

道明外僑學校是具有國際競爭力的學校，提供多元文化及多國語言的完善學習環境且致力於創造一個安全學習環境，讓學生能知道自已想要的是什麼並在學習過程中建立自信。老師保持以學生為中心的課堂氛圍，老師也會訂定可以達到的目標讓學生有足夠的信心追尋他們的夢想，並達到極佳的學習表現。多元的學校活動，激發孩子的創造力與培養團體活動的協調力。
海外大學申請輔導
不同的大學有不同的申請資料要求，從11年級開始，校方與老師會盡力輔導學生準備各個學校的申請資料準備，輔導並協助孩子們能夠順利申請到希望進入的大學。近幾年海外大學的錄取榜單，皆有亮眼的表現。
About Dominican International School
Dominican International School is a Catholic, private, English medium school owned and governed by the Dominican Sisters. It was formerly a US Government contract (D.O.D.) school for the military dependents of the United States Forces in Taipei. The Sisters are members of the Institute of the Religious Missionaries of St. Dominic, a congregation of Spanish origin with the Motherhouse in Rome, Italy, when at that time their Provincialate House was located in Manila, Philippines.
Dominican International School, mindful of the secular life and infinite divine guidance of every person, teaches the young to strive towards reaching their full potential in all aspects of human development. DIS is governed with the belief that God is at the center of our lives, and that students should do their best to be living witnesses to Jesus Christ’s teachings. DIS recognizes and accepts that parents are the primary educators of the children, and values their assistance and collaboration.
如何申請道明外僑學校:
●外國護照彩色影本
1.成績單(英文版，幼稚園不需要)
-- 申請2-7年級者請出示全部年級的成績單。
-- 申請8-10年級者請出示前三年的成績單。
2.道明推薦信兩封(有制式格式顧問會給您，一定要請在校老師填寫)
3.身體健康檢查報告(有制式格式顧問會給您，一定要給醫生簽名)
4.父母台灣護照影本
5.學生台灣護照影本
6.考試的費用為台幣6000元
How to Apply to DIS:
● Provide a color photocopy of the foreign passport.
1. Transcript (English version, not required for kindergarten)。
-- Applicants for grades 2-7 should present transcripts of all grades.
-- Applicants for grades 8-10 should present their transcripts from the previous three years.
2. Two recommendation letters (the school will provide a standard form, and you must ask the school teacher to fill it out).
3. Physical health examination report (the school will provide a standard form, and it must be signed by the doctor).
4. Copy of parents’ Taiwan passport.
5. Copy of the student’s Taiwan passport.
6. The examination fee is NT $6,000.
